Happy Saturday!
I made few days ago one of my go to classic comfort desserts for autumn (or late summer, as we still have some warm temperatures left🌞) - Apple Crumble! 🍎 It’s a timeless recipe that’s so easy to make, packed with all the cozy fall flavors 🍂 Good thing we still have some left for today!

Recipe:

🍎🥧Filling:

• 6 apples
• 2 tbsp maple syrup
• 1 tsp vanilla extract
• 1 1/2 tsp cinnamon
• 1 tbsp lemon juice

✨Topping:

• 100g rolled oats
• 60g whole wheat flour
• 57g soft butter
• 2 tbsp maple syrup
• 50g chopped nuts (optional)
• 1 tsp cinnamon

Directions:

1. Preheat the oven to 180°C and grease your baking dish.
2. Peel and slice the apples, then toss them with maple syrup, vanilla, cinnamon, and lemon juice in a bowl. Spread the mixture in the dish.
3. For the crumble, mix the oats, whole wheat flour, cinnamon, soft butter, and maple syrup until crumbly. Add nuts if you like!
4. Sprinkle the topping evenly over the apples.
5. Bake for 35-40 minutes or until golden brown and bubbling.

Bake at 180°C for 35-40 mins. 🍏✨ Top it with a drizzle of vanilla sauce, a scoop of vanilla ice cream, or Greek yogurt!
